We hardly stand still, but we always stand with creative intensions. Join us in celebrating the launch of our new store, featuring an exclusively curated exhibition with artist Bec Tarrant.

Wow. What a journey! It seems like yesterday we were hosting the grand opening to our very first shop… While we truly enjoyed our time there, we decided the next phase of Design Twins needs space — and lots of it. So we moved a couple doors down and a lot of square footage up, remaining within the creative community of Precinct 75. This new expansion has given us the exciting opportunity to continue cultivating our striking spectrum of authentic, minimalist homewares and classic-modern designs. There’s so much we look forward to sharing with you…

Design Twins stems from our love of an industrial and clean aesthetic. Not only do we handpaint our unique range of lightweight pots, but we also promote visionary talents, as well as locally made and handmade products. With a philosophy dedicated to design, art and culture, we believe this new space further enhances our abilities to share, connect and bring others together — a true place for creativity and inspiration to flourish. In keeping with our origin, I’m pleased to announce our beautiful, newly-curated collection of wares focusing on the locally designed and made.

Our love for collaboration and understanding that greenery and flora is not only beautiful, but essential for any styled space, led us to seek the talent of The Fleurist. Dominika Deska began her career working for floral royalty Matt Bisaro. Having now thrived in her own right, The Fleurist has become a name synonymous with luxe-vintage, romantic styled events and weddings. Each day, her studio overflows with a stunning array of plants, terrariums and floral posies. Deska prides herself on being a sustainable practice, using recycled material for packaging and sending flower off-cuts to green waste or compost. She sources local botanicals and works closely with trusted growers to bring you high-quality seasonal blooms and plants.

Known for her bright, abstract resin pieces, Australian artist Bec Tarrant continuously leaves us in awe. At Design Twins, art is integral to our passion for design, so we’re beyond thrilled to have teamed up with Tarrant for the debut of an exquisitely curated collection of artworks —  The Golden Lands — inspired by the Western Australian Landscape.

“The series has been so exciting to create. The colours and palettes vary quite significantly, due to the fact that the Western Australian landscape changes so drastically from reef to desert to salt fields.” — Bec Tarrant

Thank you so much for playing a part in the Design Twins journey!

We truly hope you can join us as we continue to elevate and encourage community creativity.
